“How do you live like this Ali?” Those were the simple words that started the cooking revolution. Starting last night I am now apparently enrolled in the The` school of cooking. Everything is from scratch and tonight I’m being taken to the spice store to buy every spice needed to become the manly gourmet.
I wish I had a real camera to show how delicious this spiced sausage and cheese tasted, the coconut cream and peanut sauce sent my taste-buds into ecstasy. Up until this point the extent of my cooking was gourmet popcorn and toad in the holes. Typically I would just open a can of chili or beans and eat it cold.
I’m absolutly amazed and what can be made out of such simple ingredients. I already have a galley full of pots pans and everything I could possibly need to feed a boat load of people so tonight its going to get spicy. I don’t know why I have never learned up until this point, It’s actually quite romantic cooking in the ships galley.
Cooking is like love. It should be entered into with abandon or not at all.
