If the wind isn’t going your way tack.

I spied this beautiful little Trekka replica in the harbor the other day.  I went down to take a peek and out stumbled three little pirate girls just in from the  gulf islands.  It turns out that one of the girls fathers built the boat sailed it across the Atlantic and now his daughter has taken over the ship.

Trekka completed her epic voyage as the smallest vessel to circumnavigate the globe by returning to Victoria on September 12, 1959.
