I don’t recall any part of my life where I wasn’t ready to give the shirt off my back to help a complete stranger or friend alike.  I have always been taught to stand at the end of the line, that is better to give than to receive,  that generosity and kindness rule the world.  I’ve never been the type of guy to have my hand out, for some reason generosity has always been difficult to accept like its somehow cheating.

Today a good friend from the dog park called the office to offer a few warm blankets and I graciously accepted.  Its been really cold the last few days and both Him and his wife have been so worried about us.  He delivered the blankets and I received with a huge grateful smile and thank you.  He then did something so wonderful, generous, and unexpected I didn’t know how to react… Sometimes there are no words great enough to give thanks to a friend so as usual I will pay it forward as I happily do every chance I get.

The more he gives to others,
the more he has for his own.”
