The national poverty level for a single man living in the united states is $11,170.  Working full time I made $11,243.75, I’m rich:).  I knew it was going to be dismal but receiving my 1099 statement was a bit of a shock,  definitely good for a laugh.  I can assure you the word poverty does not exist in my dictionary.

No matter, life is good and getting better by the day.  Last night was the first night I wasn’t cold since winter started, my three new blankets turned my little v birth into a warm comfy den.  By the end of the week my dogie food lockers will be full for another 6 months, add one more item checked off  my list.

“We are not rich by what we possess but by what we can do without.”
~Immanuel Kant

A friend recently asked me why I am so open with money on this blog.  I answered because there are 100,000. people out there trying to accomplish the same thing I am, and I f I can do it earning less than half of minimum wage then so can they.  When I literally lost everything I have in the entire world I didn’t look at it as a burden, I looked at it as a challenge.
