Photography has always seemed like magic to me, You look through the little hole, push a button and out comes an instant memory. Of all the pictures I have taken in my life this is still one of my all time favorites.
My computer is about to crash so I have been using it while I can to categorize all of my favorite images. Through the years I have lost some pretty amazing images due to technology or the lack of it but now that I am setting up a photo shelter to start selling my images I guess I should start to get a little more serious about archiving my work. I’m culling through about 10,000 images right now, maybe a hundred will make the cut, the rest will just…
Sometimes letting go of the old is the only way to make room for new ideas and visions. I’ve been doing allot of letting go these days and seem to have an abundance of open space to fill. My little camera might be considered a toy to some but for me its a secret mistress, good friend, and confidant. We share many secrets together and while I may share some of them, this little light box holds treasures of visual delight that will test the boundary’s of time before being revealed. I love a good secret.
“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storms, but to add color to my sunset sky.”
