Its been a frustrating but busy and fun month. I keep looking for little distractions to pull me away from the boat and my thousand projects. We can’t leave till July so June is boat work and small exploratory trips on the boat.
I was walking the harbor this morning taking a break from boat projects when I met Jordan and his pup Nora, they are setting off as we speak for Alaska in a small canoe with home made out riggers and a small lateen sail. Jordan set off last year to sail to Mexico but was dis-masted off Moro Bay. Now he is on his next adventure. If you need some inspiration check out his website. Jordan is the most awesome person I have ever met. His smile infectious as is his attitude. I snapped a few quick photos, asked a thousand questions and tried to get out of his hair so he could start the adventure. The next time you think you cant do something check out Jordan’s site and ask your self why. I’ll be following him online the whole way and hope to catch up at the end of summer and take him and Nora sailing. Please stop by and say hi to him.
Back on the boat I am pleased with my progress, I have cleaned and scrubbed ever inch stem to stern, all the lockers are inventoried what little food I have left is from my last shopping spree in June of last year. and the boat is looking and feeling good again after an incredibly painful winter.
